Chryso is named for the Greek origin of its current formal name, Chrysoprase. Chryso was the attempt to identify the stone with its warm green tone. Chrysoprase is the most desired color variety in Chalcedony family, knows for its soft translucence and most often cut into cabochon shapes to best showcase these qualities. The gem combination was considered by the play of tones and shapes bringing in unexpected and unusual combinations in this one of a kind design.
There is a coordinating necklace that can be found on a separate listing.
